Our Mission

At COUNTRY CROSSINGS, we strive to provide a developmentally appropriate curriculum. Our program is designed to provide many opportunities for children to have valuable learning experiences through play. Children learn in an environment where creative play, spontaneous exploration and play-oriented learning are encouraged. Hands-on activities that stimulate learning in all developmental areas-intellectual, social, emotional and physical are integrated throughout the curriculum.

At COUNTRY CROSSINGS, we believe the ideal group setting is one in which the classroom environment meets the individual needs of the child. Through trial and error the child gains an understanding of his/her ability to learn.

COUNTRY CROSSINGS is committed to continuous improvement as our school enables children to become confident, self-directed, life long learners.

NAEYC Accreditation

Country Crossing has applied for accreditation from the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC) and expects to earn the distinction by July 2010. The center currently utilizes NAEYC guidelines and staff-to-child ratios. The Snellville location which was sold November 2009, was NAEYC accredited from 1997 through 2009. This prestigious recognition has been achieved by approximately 5% of early childhood programs nationwide.

  Center of Distinction Award
Country Crossings has been recognized as a Center of Distinction (COD) in Georgia since 2007. The Snellville location also held this distinction from 1998 through 2009. COD recognition is provided by Bright from the Start: Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning (DECAL). This is the department that administers the Georgia Pre-Kindergarten Program. This award assures parents that Country Crossings provides an enhanced level of care in toddler and young preschool age programs.
